What is the EIM Score?
EIM stands for "Environmental Impact Measurement." The EIM Score makes it possible to measure the sustainability of production processes. A traffic light system (red, yellow, green) is used to show the consumption of water, energy, and chemicals. The occupational health and safety of employees is also included in the score.
At BRAX, we set a goal to achieve the green (and therefore best) EIM score for 70% of our jeans by January 2021. By January 2022, 100% of our jeans will be produced in an ecologically sustainable manner and awarded the green EIM score.
