SEAQUAL INITIATIVE
BRAX supports SEAQUAL INITIATIVE and is part of a community that promotes the cleaning of our oceans, supports local communities and the seeks to put an end to plastic pollution. The objective is to develop an infrastructure that can generate value from ocean waste. SEQUAL INITIATIVE establishes and manages partnerships between industry, NGOs, fishermen, communities and both local and national authorities.
TAKING THE INITIATIVE
As a member of the initiative, by manufacturing sustainable products from SEAQUAL® YARN, we help to rid the oceans of waste. The yarn contains upcycled marine plastic, as well as plastic from plastic bottles. The material is also traceable and certified.
